Resurrection Escape

“Resurrection is escape from every confine,

even of time and space.”steve garnaas-holmes

The consequence of escape is freedom and true liberation is also a product of God’s time and space.

I often think that that which transports us from chronological time and physical space into something eternal is blessing. Blessing selects that which grace mysteriously touches and illuminates.

I am remembering a gloriously beautiful dawning on the beach. Marked by a gentle breeze and rhythmic cadence of waves I had to resist my urge to capture the moment and take it with me, which would of course result in disappointment. Yet instead of a growing sadness I blessed this moment as transformative and let it fill a crack of emptiness.

When I rose it was as if I were lighter in my being and able to move differently in this world. I felt filled by an unknown, numinous vastness whose lightness of being lifted my own.

This must be resurrection escape from some incarceration.
